Upcoming water interruption for Rubyvale

The Rubyvale water treatment plant will receive maintenance works this Thursday 14 April 2022 to install a new breaker in the switchboard.

The electricity will be turned off during the installation, meaning the water supply pumps will also be off during this period.

Water interruptions will occur between 10.00 am and 10.30 am this Thursday 14 April 2022.

A slight discolouration of water may occur afterwards. Community members are encouraged to run the water for a short time. If the discolouration persists, please get in touch on 1300 242 686.

These works are part of a larger project that will upgrade the electrical communications and switchboards at Rubyvale, Sapphire and Anakie treatment plants.
