2022 ANZAC Day services on Redlands Coast

Redland City Council joins the community in paying respect to the men and women of the   armed services and in remembrance of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of Australia and New Zealand.

The following Anzac Day services are being held across Redlands Coast on Monday 25 April 2022:

Cleveland

Event Time Location DAWN SERVICE Dawn parade departs 5.20am From RSL Main Entrance, 8 Passage Street, Cleveland to ANZAC Centenary, Shore Street West, Cleveland Dawn Service commences 5.30am ANZAC Centenary Park, Show Street West, Cleveland MORNING SERVICE Main morning parade commences (includes Light Horse, WW1 Camels, Heavy Horse, Military Vehicles, Current serving units, Veterans, Scouts, Guides and Schools) 10.20am From Cleveland Bowls Club, to ANZAC Centenary Park, Shore Street West, Cleveland Morning service commences 11.00am ANZAC Centenary Park, Shore Street West, Cleveland

Changed traffic conditions

Redland City Council advises changed traffic conditions will be in place from 11pm Sunday 24 April, until 1pm Monday 25 April on Kinsail Court, Sommersea Drive, Middle Street, Passage Street, Channel Street, North Street, Fitzroy Street, Shore Street West, Shore Street North for the Cleveland ANZAC Day Service.

Road closures will be in place on Shore Street West, North Street, Fitzroy Street, Kinsail Court, Sommersea Drive, Passage Street, Channel Street and Shore Street North.

Redland Bay

Changed traffic conditions

Redland City Council advises changed traffic conditions will be in place from 4:00am – 7:30am on Banana Street, Meissner Street, Outridge Street, Weinam Street and Hamilton Street Redland Bay on Monday 25 April for the Redland Bay ANZAC Day Service.

A road closure will be in place on Banana Street, Redland Bay between Outridge and Weinam streets.

Free Shuttle Bus will be transporting patrons from the Redland Bay Hotel to Wienam St (Cenotaph) starting at 4:00am prior to service and then returning after the service until 7:00am.

North Stradbroke Island

Coochiemudlo Island

Event Time Location Special ferry to Coochiemudlo Island from mainland 4.45am Victoria Point jetty to Coochiemudlo Island – departing at 4.45am from Victoria Point Commemorative service 5:30am New Memorial – Main Beach, opposite Coochiemudlo Island Beach Bar

Redlands North Memorial Service 

Organiser: Redlands North schools and groups –  a service conducted with local youth and      school student leaders

Anzac Day services have been organised by the Redlands RSL, Bayside South RSL Sub-Branch, Stradbroke Island RSL, Macleay Island RSL, Russell Island RSL Sub-Branch, Lamb Island Recreation Club, Karragarra Island Ratepayers and Residents Association and Coochiemudlo Island RSL Sub-Branch.
