Friends, it’s time to plant!

Planting season is upon us and we've compiled a list of upcoming community planting days over the next couple of weeks.

These events are open to all ages and abilities. Simply turn up on the day wearing closed-in shoes, with your gardening gloves and water bottle. Sign the volunteer register and a volunteer will help you get started on planting:

Samson Park

Date: Sunday 22 May Time: 9.30am–12.30pm Location: Meet at the McCombe Street entrance

The Friends of Samson Park and the City of Fremantle are aiming to plant 1470 native seedlings. Share the Facebook event.

Booyeembara Park

Date: Saturday 28 May Time: 9am–12pm Location: Planting south of the amphitheatre

Date: Sunday 29 May Time: 9–11am Location: Prawn Bay - meet the the end of Johannah Street, North Fremantle

Clontarf Hill - save the date
