Mackay region show holiday closures and operating hours

Isaac Regional Council would like to advise communities of the following temporary closures and normal operating hours for the Mackay Region Show Day public holiday for Carmila, Nebo and Glenden on Thursday, 16 June 2022.

COUNCIL OFFICES, ISAAC LIBRARIES AND FACILITIES

Council's offices, customer service counters, libraries, depots, galleries, recreation centres and halls at Carmila, Nebo and Glenden will be closed on Thursday 16 June 2022 and will re-open during normal business hours from Friday, 17 June 2022. Historic Nebo Museum will also be closed and re-open on Tuesday, 21 June 2022 and Carmila Library will re-open on Monday, 20 June 2022. All other towns in the Isaac region will operate as normal.

WASTE SERVICES

Kerbside waste and recycling collections will go ahead as normal on public holidays across the region.  Please ensure your bins are placed on the kerbside by 6am on collection day. Visit https://www.isaac.qld.gov.au/environment-water-waste/kerbside-collection for more information.

WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITIES
