Are you hosting a workshop, demonstration, or performance in the Central Highlands? Arts Around August is your time to shine!
Registrations to be part of our events calendar are now open.
Arts around August promotes the diversity of the Central Highlands’ thriving arts and culture sector through supporting local community projects and events during July, August, and September each year.
Central Highlands Regional Council is looking forward to offering the community a variety of arts and culture opportunities to suit the whole family, including during the September school holidays.
The program is set to include the Annual Art Awards Emerald, Flipside Circus workshops, youth painting workshops and more.
‘Arts Around August is always a special time here in the Central Highlands with community members having the opportunity to immerse themselves in a variety of arts and cultural opportunities,’ said Mayor Kerry Hayes.
‘As always we are throwing it back to our talented local artists and encouraging anyone with a passion for the creative to share their love with the region by holding an event any time in July, August or September.’
‘Council is looking forward to working closely with community groups and artists to help promote their events to the wider community with promotional kits on offer.’
