Whether it’s a video, podcast, or animation, people can let their imaginations run wild at HJ Daley Library’s new Creative Studio.
The Creative Studio features a range of equipment including a green screen, 3D printer, audio recorders, scanners, cameras and sewing machines, as well as access to Adobe Creative Suite software.
“Our libraries are spaces for people to learn and tap into their creative side,” Mayor George Greiss said.
“When we were developing our Library Strategic Plan, we heard from the community that they wanted to see more encouragement of creative pursuits and access to equipment in our libraries,” Cr Greiss said.
“The Creative Studio makes a great variety of equipment accessible to the community and provides great opportunity for local school and university students who want to learn and create,” he said.
Anyone with a library membership can book the Creative Studio to use for free.
Another Creative Studio is being developed for the Greg Percival Library at Ingleburn.
