BE A GOOD SORT | RECYCLING HUBS

Central Coast Council recently secured a grant from Dulverton Waste Management for the installation of two Recycling Hubs.

The hubs provide our community with a centralised location to responsibly dispose of common items that are not accepted in the kerbside recycling program, such as:

Eyeglasses X-rays Printer cartridges Small e-waste Batteries Mobile phones Coffee capsules (aluminum only) Bread tags (plastic only) CDs and DVDs.

More waste streams can be added to the hubs as they are identified.

The recycling hubs can be accessed during business hours at the following locations:

     Penguin Service Centre, 78 Main Road, Penguin      Administration Centre, 19 King Edward Street, Ulverstone.
