Executive Support Officer

The role:

As an Executive Support Officer, you will provide high-level executive assistance to the Mayor, Councillors and Executive Management by co-ordinating their day-to-day administration needs.

What we are looking for:

You will have experience working in a busy, senior administration position in a large organisation in an environment requiring confidentiality and discretion You will have well-developed time management and organisational skills and high-level computer and keyboard skills You will have exceptional communication, interpersonal and public relations skills as you will be interacting with a diverse range of people from members of the community to dignitaries A good working knowledge of the local community and an understanding of the organisational structure and functions of Local Government would be beneficial to facilitate the efficient handling of enquiries and requests for information from both external and internal customers
