Roads update – 4 July 2022

Council has finished grading Boorabee Creek Road, and the crew has moved to Baraimal Lane. When they’ve finished there, we’ll take the grader to Studders Lane.

The drainage crew is still working on Collins Creek Road in preparation for grading. The soft spot on Omagh Road is being repaired today.

Work to repair the hill section of Theresa Creek Road beyond Dugans Road should be completed on Thursday, subject to the weather. Once that section of road has been sealed, the work crew will return to the construction job on Theresa Creek Road which was started a couple of months ago.

Pothole patching is continuing along the Clarence Way and Bruxner Highway.

Lions Road remains closed north of Murphy Standfield’s culvert to the border.
