UNDER S.178 OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1993
Notice is given that at its meeting held on Monday 20 June 2022, the Council resolved to lease an 11.2m2 portion of land at 12 The Quadrant, Ulverstone encompassed in part of Certificate of Title Volume 66284 Folio 6.
The land is to be leased to Optus Mobile Pty Ltd for a period of two x 10 year terms and will be used to house an Optus mobile phone base station outdoor cabinet (3,030mm x 634mm).
In accordance with s.178 of the Local Government Act 1993 (the Act) any person may object to the disposal (lease) of public land within 21 days from the date of notification, by writing to the General Manager, Central Coast Council, PO Box 220, Ulverstone TAS 7315. Notices of objection will be received until 12 noon on Monday 25 July 2022. Any objections received will be considered by the Council and, in accordance with s.178A of the Act, further appeal provisions apply.
