Alpine Shire Council launched the new digital customer request management platform this week, and customers will begin to see a new interface in key online interactions with the organisation.
Alpine Shire Mayor Sarah Nicholas said the portal replaces a number of online forms and connects seamlessly with Council’s website.
“If you follow a link for a key service from our website - like waste service updates, or to have your say on a community project or consultation - you will be directed straight to MyAlpine,” she said.
“MyAlpine allows you to create an account, where you can report a problem, make a submission or submit a request.
“A new online facilities booking system is also available through the portal - browse and book for your next event or private function from the comfort of the couch!
“You can also submit a request or report a problem as a guest.”
MyAlpine allows customers to submit, view and track their requests, and receive real-time updates on the progress of an enquiry or submission.
Cr Nicholas said future additions to the services on MyAlpine will include online rates payments, and eventually the lodgement and tracking of building and planning applications.
“This is an exciting step towards having a full suite of online services at our community’s fingertips,” she said.
