New management excited to take over Rolleston pool

From 1 September 2022, Light Aquatics will take over the management of the Rolleston Aquatic Centre.
The company also manage the Springsure Aquatic Centre as well.
‘A survey last year informed council that residents wanted some changes to the pool,’ said Acting General Manager Communities Leisa Donlan.
‘We’re confident with the new management team, we’ll see some positive changes to the programming that positions the pool as the centre point for a newly formed recreation hub for Rolleston.
‘We’ve also upgraded infrastructure in the surrounding area such as the skate park, footpaths along the multi-use court, and a new playground.’
The pool will re-open after the winter break on the first day of school holidays, 17 September 2022.
‘It’s very exciting to be adding the Rolleston Aquatic Centre to our management team,’ said Manager Springsure/Rolleston Aquatic Centres Melissa Hunter.
