Community groups, not-for-profit organisations and Local Aboriginal Land Councils in the Kyogle local government area (LGA) are being encouraged to apply for a share of $422,344 in grants on offer as part of Round 5 of Stronger Country Communities Funding (SCCF).
Council is also seeking input from community members and organisations on how it should spend its $929,158 share of SCCF Round 5.
The focus of this round of funding is on boosting the wellbeing of communities in regional NSW, with the guidelines noting;
The funding is available for project types including local community and sporting infrastructure, street beautification, projects that improve accessibility and inclusion for people with disability, projects that improve outcomes for Aboriginal people, community programs and local events.
Applications for SCCF Round 5 opened on 5 August and will close at 5pm on 23 September.
