Digital advancement, environmental sustainability and improved liveability are some of the major themes of the Central Highlands Regional Council’s new operational plan, which was adopted today.
The plan outlines council’s key activities and objectives for the 2022-2023 financial year.
‘It translates our long-term destination goals and key strategies, set out in our new five-year corporate plan, into measurable actions for the next 12 months,’ said Chief Executive Officer Sharon Houlihan.
‘An operational plan sets out improvement activities and is basically the nuts and bolts of what council does. Along with our service delivery standards and our capital works program, the operational plan highlights the things we are going to do this year to deliver on our overarching priorities.
‘We are really excited to present this plan to you and continue our journey towards an inclusive, prosperous and connected regional community.’
