Facilities Asset Officer

The role:

As Facilities Asset Officer, you will be responsible for data collection, assessment and program delivery for a wide variety of issued primarily related to building and facilities infrastructure.

What we are looking for:

You will have a good working knowledge of the building construction and maintenance industry to ensure cost estimates are accurate for the management of assets. You will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to resolve conflict, and effectively liaise and negotiate (both written and verbal) with stakeholders in a Local Government environment You will need to be a highly organised and self-motivated individual with the ability to work in a team or independently to achieve organisation objectives You will have sound computer skills with the ability to utilise data bases,  Microsoft Office applications as well as engineering, asset management software and geographic information systems
