CHANGE IN PURPOSE OF RESERVE FUND

In accordance with section 6.11(2) of the Local Government Act 1995, notice is hereby given that Council intend to change the Purpose of a Reserve Fund. The “Road Reserve Fund” purpose is “Funds to be used for capital and maintenance works on roads within the Shire of Kent for future years”

The previous purpose of the Road Reserve stipulated “capital works” only. It was resolved by Council to include maintenance into the purpose at the Ordinary Meeting of Council held 17 August 2022.

Submissions on the intention to change the purpose of the reserve should be addressed to the Acting Chief Executive Officer and submitted to the Shire by 4:00pm on 20 September 2022.
