Industry representatives will converge to the Toowoomba Region on 31 August for a Temporary Traffic Management Industry briefing.

With a wide range of experts attending the briefings, Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) Infrastructure Committee Chair Cr Taylor has encouraged interested people to register for the event.

“This is a great opportunity to learn more about traffic management and to ask questions to the wide range of experts who will be here on the day,” she said.

“Over the day we’ll have subject matter experts from the Department of Transport and Main Roads, Council, the Traffic Management Association of Australia, Workplace Health and Safety Queensland and Solutions in Transport.

“The day has been broken up into three sessions so we can have dedicated briefings for different audience groups.”

These sessions will aim to address several issues raised by industry including:

Working Together for Safer Worksites Responsibilities of RIM (AGTTM) PCBU Duty Council’s Process TTM Designer Responsibilities Common Deficiencies Experienced by Industry.

The format for the three sessions will be as follows:

Registrations for the event being held on 31 August, are required by 29 August at 8am.
