Crews are working to repair minor landslips and drainage damaged in the February/March floods on Sargents, Kyogle, Creegans, Yabbra, Gradys Creek, Lynches Creek, Iron Pot Creek, and Racecourse roads.
Once these works are completed, the crews will move on to Horseshoe Creek, Cawongla, Williams, Cedargetters, Warrazambil, Ghinni Ghi, Nolans, and Collins Creek roads.
Flood damage grading crews are working on Main Creek Road, Goanna Creek Road, Old Dyraaba Road, and Brumby Plains Road. From there, they will move to Gradys Creek Road, Ryans Creek Road, Eggins Road, and Glen Road.
Council’s construction crews are currently working on projects on the Bruxner Highway at the Mallanganee Range, Dyraaba Road, Old Dyraaba Road and the Clarence Way at Sandilands.
Pothole patching crews are working this week in Tabulam, Kyogle, and along the Clarence Way.
Piling has been completed and concrete work has started on new bridges being built on Capeen Creek, Duck Creek and Tunglebung Creek roads. Piling is expected to start on the new bridge being built on Green Pigeon Road in late September, and the new bridge on Pines Road in early October. Work has started on a side track around the new bridge site on Iron Pot Creek Road.
Council’s culvert crew completed a bridge to pipes project on Ferndale Road last week.
