Flood damage grading crews are working on Main Creek, Pirlos Old Dyraaba, Brumbies Plains, and Deep Creek roads. After these jobs are completed, the crews will move to Gradys Creek, Ryans Creek, Glen, Eggins, and Old Bruxner roads and Trentys Lane.
The heavy patching crew has started on sealed road repairs, working first on Theresa Creek Road and then moving to Racecourse Road.
Council is still doing flood drainage repairs in the Collins Creek, Cawongla, Gradys Creek, Ettrick, Dyraaba and Woodenbong areas.
Road construction crews continue to work on projects at Sandilands on the Clarence Way, the initial seal on Dyraaba Road and the Bruxner Highway at the Mallanganee Range.
Pothole patching continues on the Clarence Way, with the crew currently working at Salty Flat. Council is also pothole patching in the Kyogle urban area and will then move to the Summerland Way.
Council is building new bridges on Capeen Creek, Duck Creek, Tunglebung Creek, Iron Pot Creek, and Green Pigeon roads. When this group of bridges has been completed, Council will have reached the halfway mark in the Fixing County Bridges and Bridge Renewal programs – Council had 94 bridge to construct over a period of three years.
Investigation and design works continue for the major landslips. You will see drilling rigs at Williams, Creegans and Lynches Creek roads over the coming week.
Council’s culvert crew is working at Findon Creek, Long Creek and Iron Pot Creek Roads.
