Jessica Walters is a young mum following her dreams and working hard running her small business, Collective & Co.
“I’m 18 and a young mum and I’m just having a go really,” said Jessica.
“I started in 2020 with my online store Mini Moo Delights and now I’ve rebranded to Collective & Co as it’s a bit more professional.
“I’m just trying to make affordable products so everyone can get their gifts in one place and support local.”
Jessica opened her store last Wednesday at 167 Kelly St, Scone and is grateful for the community support she has received.
“I’ve had so much support from Scone and all around, it has been amazing…It means the world to me,” she said.
“We have lots of local products in store too including Macrame plants and dreamcatchers that are made locally, that’s a big focus of mine.”
Collective & Co offer a variety of different products including many handmade items.
“We have handmade candles and skincare including lip balms, serums and body butter,” she said.
“They’re all natural products that I hand make myself…I started off making lip balm and it grew from there.
“It’s something that I’ve always wanted to do.
“We also have cowhide, clothing, baby clothes, tea towels, Macrame plants, pillows, pictures and tea so there’s a bit of a range.”
You can visit the Collective & Co store on Kelly St to check out their offerings or visit their website or Facebook page for more information.
