Community Grant funding totalling over $15,000 will be awarded to local groups under Round 1 of Council’s Community Grants Program for 2022/23.  This funding will support community projects worth a total of $31,709.

The Community Grants Program 2022/2023 aligns with the Council Plan to support the strength and resilience of the community. Eligible community groups can access funds in four rounds annually across five categories that support a range of community needs.

Mayor, Cr Tim Drylie, congratulated the successful applicants on their submissions and said that he was looking forward to seeing these projects delivered.

“These grants can make a big difference in the community. The program provides community groups with much needed funds to deliver projects that might not have been possible without this support,” said Cr Tim Drylie.
