Eagleby’s Bishop Street Park is shaping to be built as a fun, accessible and family-oriented community space thanks to residents sharing their visions on the project.
That was a central theme from residents and community groups expressed during Council’s community visioning session at the site on August 11.

Some other ideas shared at the visioning session included:
a waterplay area outdoor staging nature-based activities sensory playDivision 12 Cr Karen Murphy said input from local families was invaluable and would form the basis of a Masterplan for the site.
“The redevelopment of Bishop Street Park is an exciting opportunity for residents in Eagleby,” Cr Murphy said.
“It is not every day you get to help design a new facility for your family and community to enjoy.
“This is our chance to develop something special that will enhance the lifestyles of local people now and for many years to come.
“We want to hear from as many people as possible, so I encourage everyone with an interest in this park to jump online and share their thoughts.”
