Mareeba is located within an easy one-hour drive from Cairns offering a regional lifestyle with all its benefits in relatively close proximity to Cairns.

The Role:

How would you like to you earn over $60k per year, have the costs of your university education covered by your employer and receive invaluable mentoring and on-the-job training allowing you to earn while you learn?

If you are a motivated individual with an interest in or some knowledge of technical drawing, design, graphics and/or geographical information services (GIS), our cadetships are an excellent opportunity to accelerate your career path and gain invaluable practical experience while undertaking an approved university course.

What we are looking for:

You will need to be a motivated individual who will positively contribute and work as part of a hardworking team You will have an interest in or some knowledge of technical drawing, graphics and/or geographical information services (GIS) You will need to meet the prerequisite requirements and be eligible to enrol in an approved tertiary course You will have verbal and written communications skills that will enable you to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors and complete course work to the required standard You will have a sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and a range of software applications such as CAD and/or computer mapping systems

What we can offer you:
