The City of Albany is on the hunt for local community groups to partner with the City to spread the much-anticipated 2023 Community Calendar into the homes of Albany residents.
The Community Calendar is a valued resource that takes up residence with the Albany community, providing key dates, waste collection information and important public information from the City.
After a successful delivery campaign in 2020, the City invites clubs and community groups to take up this unique fundraising opportunity once again.
A selection of community groups will be required to deliver to specified residential zones across Albany, distributing calendars to each zone in time for the start of 2023.
Community groups will be remunerated for their delivery efforts.
Manager Community Services Louise Paterson said the City is always looking for innovative ways to support the Albany community.
“This year’s calendar theme of Albany Birdlife has been met with a lot of enthusiasm, and we’re excited to share it with the community,” she said.
“We want to use the calendar delivery as a fundraising opportunity for some of the fantastic clubs and groups within our City who will value the chance to drive additional funds into their community group.
“By collaborating with these groups to deliver the calendar, the City can provide much-needed financial support to these community groups who are the heart of Albany.”
Clubs and groups can register their interest online here or pick up a hard copy from the City of Albany North Road Administration Offices until Monday, 31 October 2022.
