ULVERSTONE EVACUATION CENTRE – 14-15 Oct

Based on our discussions with the State Emergency Service (SES), the Ulverstone Evacuation Centre will close at 5pm today, Friday 14 October and will re-open at 9am tomorrow, Saturday 15 October 2022. During this time, the centre will remain on stand-by and can be opened at very short notice if required, allowing us to concentrate our recovery efforts where they are needed most.

For assistance:

Call the SES on 132 500 for flood and storm-related emergency assistance. Dial Triple Zero (000) in a life-threatening situation. Call us on 6429 8999 for after-hours enquiries about our evacuation centre.

The Council would like to acknowledge the many generous offers of assistance we have received from the community, since opening the centre yesterday morning. Take care and stay safe.

The Ulverstone Evacuation Centre is located at the Ulverstone Recreation Centre, 2 Flora Street, West Ulverstone.
