Free Green waste collection

To assist with fire prevention in the region, the Regional Council of Goyder have organised free green waste disposal at all three transfer stations during normal opening times between Monday 31st October 2022 until to Sunday 13th November 2022 for Goyder residents.

Waste Transfer Station opening hours are:

Burra

Thursdays between 2-3pm

Eudunda

Saturdays between 10-12pm

Hallett  *Sunday 6th November only*

Sunday 10-12pm

Acceptable items:

Clean residential green organics including grass clippings, pruning's, leaves, small branches and burned vegetation. Loads are limited to a all utilities, trailers above water level (inc. Hurdles).

Pallets or timber or artificial (astro) turf. Commercial or truck loads of materials, waste or hard rubbish, or proclaimed weeds including Rose, Poplar, Blackberry, Gorse, Olive, Bridal creeper, Kikuyu, Couch, and Bamboo.
