Fremantle Library is hosting a series of free gaming tournaments and activities from 1–29 November 2022 to celebrate International Game Month!
This jam-packed program has something for all ages, from toys in the courtyard for little ones to gaming tournaments and virtual reality come and try sessions.
We've pulled together a handy guide to what's on at the library!
MarioKart 8 Deluxe Tournament | 3.30–5.30pm, Tue 15 Nov | FREEIt's a-me, Mario! Choose your fighter and join in on the fun in this ultimate MarioKart Tournament on the Nintendo Switch for ages 11–18.
Each session will have a maximum of 16 players, with some great prizes up for grabs!

Super Smash Bros Ultimate Tournament | 3.30–5.30pm, Tue 22 Nov | FREEShow off your skills in the ultimate cross-over game, Super Smash Bros on Nintendo Switch!
This tournament is open for age 11–18, with prizes to be won.

Come & Try Virtual Reality Sessions | 3.30–5pm, Thu 3, 10, 17, 24 Nov | FREE
Come and try Fremantle Library's Virtual Reality headset, the Meta Quest 2!
Immerse yourself in some amazing games, in the comfort of the Fremantle Library.
The sessions are available for ages 7+.

Beers and Board games 18+ | 7–9.30pm, Thu 24 Nov | $10Join us for this after-hours event at Fremantle Library!
There will be a heap of fun board games to choose from including Catan, Unstable Unicorns, Pandemic, Carcassonne and plenty more.
Plus the Gaming Zone will be available with Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series S and Play Station 5.
Tickets are $10 which entitles you to two free drinks throughout the evening.
