Emergency relief payments

Emergency financial assistance is available for community members whose homes have been impacted by the current flood emergency in Victoria to help them to meet their relief needs.

If you think you may be eligible for an emergency relief payment, complete the online application form. We will assess your application and determine if you are eligible for a one-off payment.

ADVICE FOR USING THE FORM:

Do not add the middle initial of your name on the application form (in the driver license section) Please only fill in one form per household (add in your children / household members to the one form) When adding a Medicare number as a form of identity, only one Medicare number is needed. This is just to verify your identity. The officer that will process your payment will go through this with you and will ask for more information if it is needed.

If you are deemed eligible you will receive payment via direct deposit within three to five business days. If you need to receive payment via a physical card, (for example, if you don’t have an email address), you will need to complete a call back form.
