Australia Day provides residents with the opportunity to celebrate all that is Australian and acknowledge active citizenship and achievement.
Nominations are now open for the 2023 Barcoo Shire Australia Day awards. Applications close 5pm, 25 November 2022 and must be submitted on the Barcoo Shire Council Australia Day Award Nomination Form (below).
Award categories include Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year, Community Event of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Senior Sports Award, Junior Sports Award and Cultural Award.
