Do you have a great idea for expanding your business and exporting your product, but don’t know where to start? Lithgow Council have an opportunity for you!
Lithgow City Council, Investment NSW and Regional Development Australia Central West are hosting a free Export Capability Workshop on 22 November for local businesses and industries looking to expand but are unsure where to start.
The Council is focused on transitioning the city and its economy as a centre of industry, energy and innovation, more ready for the future. Lithgow presents real opportunities to become a hub for the circular economies, along with specialising in advanced manufacturing, transport and logistics, health and aged care, agribusiness, and tourism. All options are being explored.
“This city’s economic growth is not just dependent on new industry”, said Lithgow City Council’s Mayor, Councillor Maree Statham. “We also believe that it is important to support current business and industry to expand through capacity building, providing them with the information and opportunities they need to grow. I encourage anyone interested to get involved in this workshop”
The NSW Export Capability Building workshop, hosted by Brent Bannister, Senior Export Adviser at Investment NSW is aimed at businesses who are considering exporting but are unsure where to start, or what assistance is available to them.
