There are just a few weeks left to register float and stallholder applications for the 2022 Christmas Pageant and after party.
Council is hoping to see the event return to the success of previous years, prior to the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Council's Events Coordinator, Rachel Merton, said she is hoping to see the support from business and community groups to bring the pageant back to its successful pre-covid numbers.
"Prior to the pandemic, the Christmas Pageant was strongly supported in the community, and we were seeing record numbers in registrations for floats”
"We are hoping to see the event grow, returning to the success it was in previous years.”
“As we say every year, the more people that get their registrations in early, the bigger the event and the better we are able to prepare to ensure it runs smoothly for the city's kids and their families."
“With the event returning to the first Saturday in December this year, it is the perfect opportunity to mark the start of the festive season for the Community”
The 2022 Christmas pageant will take place on Saturday December 3rd with the pageant commencing from 6pm.
The after party in Sturt Park, will commence from 6:30pm and will feature a range of stalls, activities for kids and a special appearance from Santa.
The registration form for floats, stalls and sponsors can be found below, or in the 'forms' section of Council's website. Alternatively, people can contact Broken Hill City Council’s Events team via email: [email protected]
The 2022 Christmas Pageant is conducted by Broken Hill City Council and supported by the Reconnecting Regional NSW Community Events Program.
