Sale of land for overdue rates

Notice is hereby given to the owner/s of the properties listed in the documents below that Broken Hill City Council has resolved on 27 July 2022, in accordance with Section 713 of the Local Government Act 1993, to sell the land described and on which the amount of rates stated in each case as of 31 August 2022 is due.

In default of payment or a suitable payment arrangement to the Council of the amount stated, and any other rates (including extra charges) becoming due and payable after the 31 August 2022, before the time fixed for the sale, the said land will be offered for sale by public auction to be held over two days at 10am on the 15th and 16th February 2023 at the Civic Centre, 31 Chloride St, Broken Hill NSW 2880 by Ray White Broken Hill, 399 Crystal Street, Broken Hill.

* Occupancy of dwelling unknown. Vacant possession is the responsibility of the purchaser.
