Public notice: Anakie property fire

Council has been informed this morning of a fire at one of our community housing properties in Anakie.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crew attended the scene on Evans St and have put out the blaze.

Police have confirmed that all tenants are safe and accounted for.

Council is working with the Department of Housing to source alternative emergency accommodation for those impacted.

QFES will conduct an investigation into the cause of the fire.
