Have your say with the 2022 Aquatic Centre survey

With summer nearly here and the temperature rising, aquatic centres are once again becoming the place to be, highlighting the importance of facilities like this in the Central Highlands.

To make sure the centres are meeting the needs of the community, the Central Highlands Regional Council’s sport and recreation team want to know what you think about your local swimming pool.

‘Last time we conducted the survey, we learned that Springsure Aquatic Centre needed a total overhaul,’ Acting Manager Parks and Recreation Emma Tierney said.

‘As a result, we prioritised the need to upgrade this facility and plans for major improvements are now underway.

‘Your feedback is valuable and really makes a difference, so we are encouraging anyone who uses our centres to have their say and potentially influence future upgrade or maintenance projects.’

There are 6 surveys available to complete, covering each aquatic centre in the Central Highlands. Multiple surveys can be completed if you have visited the aquatic centre within the past 12 months.

Surveys are open until 8 January 2023 via the Have Your Say, Central Highlands platform and take approximately 5 minutes to complete.

‘Thank you for being part of the continual improvement of the region’s facilities,’ Ms Tierney said.
