Kyneton Dry Stone Walling Centre have been named Business of the Year at the 2022 Josh’s Rainbow Eggs Macedon Ranges Business Excellence Awards, also taking out the Excellence in Manufacturing, Trades, Retail and Innovation category.
The winner of the People’s Choice Award was Pearce Electricians.
The awards recognise businesses offering an outstanding service to the shire and beyond, who are of great value to the community providing local jobs, services and supplies.
The 2022 winners, announced at a gala dinner at Lancemore Macedon Ranges on Friday 18 November, were:

Fifty-two businesses entered this year’s awards and finalists were chosen by a judging panel of independent business professionals from outside of the Macedon Ranges.
Mayor, Cr Jennifer Anderson said it was great to see the awards being embraced by so many local businesses.
“We recognise the time and effort it can take to complete nominations so it was great to see so many get involved”.
“Congratulations to this year’s winners and finalists and to everybody who was part of this fantastic event”.
“In 2023 we will be encouraging the community to get involved in rewarding their favourite businesses so look out for these changes. Community support plays such an important role in shaping the success of our local businesses every day.
“The new awards system will allow everybody to demonstrate their appreciation through voting above and beyond being a customer and recommending them to others,” she said.
