From Christmas carols to festive fiestas, there’s plenty happening around the City this December.
The Wanneroo Town Centre will come alive with festive cheer on Saturday 10 December for the Christmas Fiesta. This free, family-friendly event will feature ice skating, market stalls, music and more, plus a special visit from Santa.
Wanneroo Mayor Linda Aitken said the City was also proud to be supporting a range of community-led Christmas events and celebrations through its community funding programs.
“It’s wonderful to see the community coming together to spread Christmas joyfulness, celebrating with their neighbours,” Mayor Aitken said.
“There are community carols, lunches and festivals running across the City, from Koondoola to Yanchep.
“I’m particularly pleased to be able to support the Wanneroo Christmas Day Lunch this year, providing an opportunity for those who are alone, in need of company, or doing it tough to celebrate this Christmas.”
