Unplanned power outage, Waste Management Facility, Moranbah

Isaac Regional Council advises the community of an unplanned disruption to power supply at the Moranbah Waste Management Facility.

Ergon advises “The loss of supply is due to damage requiring emergency repairs. Fault finding is in progress”. The estimated fix time is currently unknown.

Domestic users can continue to use the facility. Commercial customers who wish to dispose of waste will be charged via the prescribed deeming method until power to the weighbridge is restored.

Council apologises for any inconvenience. Further updates will be provided.
