Skatepark summer holiday workshops

Join in on the summer fun at the Esplanade Youth Plaza and Montreal Skate Park in Fremantle with a host of free workshops for kids from Tuesday 20 December 2022 to Friday 27 January 2023! 

4–5.30pm + 5.30–7pm, Fridays 30 Dec, 13 + 27 Jan | Esplanade Youth Plaza, Fremantle

We’ve teamed up with Perth Parkour for six free parkour workshops across three big days at the Esplanade Youth Plaza.

The sessions take place Friday afternoons between 4–5.30pm and 5.30–7pm on 30 December, 13 and 27 January.

These free workshops are open to ages eight and up and all skill levels are welcome to join in on the fun. Participants will learn how to use the parkour course safely, along with a variety of skills to help kickstart or progress their training.

Please bring a water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, tight-fitting enclosed footwear, and comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting a little dirty!

Join the friendly team from Freestyle Now for a series of free workshops spanning skateboarding, BMX, scooters and roller-skating!

The sessions are suited for ages six and older and focus on confidence building, learning new skills and the importance of good skatepark etiquette. 

There will also be a free 10-minute parent info session between each workshop. Participants will need to bring their own gear including helmets for a safe and fun day!
