Council Christmas/New Year Closures

The Mayor, Councillors and Staff of Dungog Shire Council would like to wish the residents of Dungog Shire a safe and Merry Christmas, and a happy New Year!

 Service Area  Closure time and date/s  Re-opens Council's Administration Building / Service NSW Agency From 12.00 noon on Friday 23 December 2022  Tuesday 3   January 2023 Dungog Library From 12.00 noon on Friday 23 December 2022  Tuesday 3   January 2023 Works Depot From 4.30pm on Thursday 22 December 2022  Tuesday 3   January 2023 Dungog Waste Management Facility Closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day and will operate normal hours at all other times over the Christmas period.    Visitor Information Centre

Closed from 12.00 noon on Friday 23 December 2022 and will re-open on Tuesday 27 December 2022

Also closed New Year's Day and Monday 2nd January 2023 and re-opening Tuesday 3 January 2023

There will be a reduced number of depot staff providing essential services throughout the Christmas/New Year Period.  

EMERGENCY CONTACT: For all after-hours incidents relating to our local roads and bridges, please call 0407 721 224.

*Note: A staff Christmas function will take place from 1pm to 3pm on Friday 16 December 2022. Council's Administration Centre, Waste Facility, Depot, Library and Visitor Information Centre facilities will all be closed from 12 noon on 16 December 2022 to allow staff to attend this function.
