There are no changes to bin collections over the holiday season. Bins will be collected as usual on all of the public holidays, including:
Christmas Day Sunday 25 December 2022Boxing Day Monday 26 December 2022New Year’s Day Sunday 1 January 2023Australia Day Thursday 26 January 2023Please ensure that bins are placed on the kerb by 6am on your collection day. They may be collected earlier on the public holidays.
Millar Road Landfill is open seven days a week, from 7.30am–4pm (closed 25 December 2022). The public cannot access the landfill on Christmas Day but this will not affect bin collections.
The Reuse Shop at the landfill will be open on weekends and public holidays over the holiday break (closed Christmas Day). The recycle yard will be open for drop offs of cardboard, polystyrene, waste oil, batteries, metal, e-waste and quality recycled goods during regular landfill hours (closed Christmas Day).
