Council congratulated Jennifer Concato, Executive Director and Grace Haydon, Senior Project Officer from the City Planning & Design Team who received the Minister’s Awards for Women in Local Government. (Item 8.1) Council noted the Lord Mayor’s Annual Christmas Party and donated $5,000 to the Cumberland’s Women’s Health Centre and $5,000 to the Children’s Medical Research Institute. (Item 8.2) Council noted the program of activities and communications regarding the International Day of People with Disability on 3 December 2022 and donated $1,000 to the Western Sydney Wanders Football Foundation Christmas Appeal. (Item 8.3) Council noted the petition from North Rocks residents to refuse the RIBDC Planning Proposal. (Item 10.1) Council rescinded the Outcome of Public Exhibition and impact of Department of Planning decisions on the draft Parramatta City Centre DCP and approved the DCP controls and lowered the tower separation to 15m. (Item 11.1) Council dismissed the rescission motion for the Planning Proposal, draft Development Control Plan and draft Planning Agreement for St John’s Anglican Church (Item 13.2) Council noted the City of Parramatta Council Annual Report. (Item 12.1) Council noted the Investment Report for October 2022. (Item 12.2) Council adopted the administrative amendments to the Fees and Charges for 2022/23 for the advertisement and/or notification of a Development Application and modification of a consent EP&A Regulation Schedule. (Item 12.4) Council noted the Engagement Evaluation and Key Finding Report for the Community Engagement Strategy. (Item 13.1) Council refused the Planning Proposal at 361-365 North Rocks Road, North Rock. (Item 13.2) Council approved the Gateway Determination for the Department of Planning on the Planning Proposal for the land at 8 Lincluden Place, Oatlands. (Item 13.3) Council deferred the night time economy diversification grants 2022/23 to the 5 December Council meeting. (Item 13.4) Council approved the 2021-2022 Annual Financial Statements, Auditor’s Reports and submissions to be presented to the public. (Item 13.5) Council adopted the Quarterly Budget Review Statement and Responsible Accounting Officer’s Report on the financial position of Council. (Item 13.6) Council approved the draft City of Parramatta Development Control Plan for public exhibition and endorsed the administrative changes to the stand-alone DCPs for Wentworth Point and Homebush Bay West. (Item 13.7) Council congratulated the five community organisations selected to participate in the ParraMatch 2022 and provided $1500 assistance for each project.
