Fremantle has upped the cool factor these summer holidays by bringing free pop-up waterslides and rides to Perth’s favourite beach town in the Splash Freo Adventure Trail.
Between 12–18 January the port city will host adventurous summer fun across five iconic Freo locations.
Book your free ticket today to unlock eight rides suitable for kids aged 2–12 years. Answer the fun ocean questions at each location for your chance to win great prizes.
As a bonus activity, magical ocean fairies will entertain you outside Fremantle Markets from 11.30am–3.30pm on 13–15 January.
There’ll be bubbles, ocean sparkles and a mermaid throne photo booth. Find them in Henderson St Mall, near the Sail & Anchor and Old Shanghai.

Fremantle Mayor Hannah Fitzhardinge said Freo was the perfect place to keep cool during a long hot summer.
“Why not start your summer holiday adventure by heading into the heart of Fremantle to one of the two starting locations to pick up your Splash Freo trail map?” Mayor Fitzhardinge said.
“Along the trail explore Fremantle’s historic streets, refresh yourselves with a cold drink or ice cream and discover special offers from Fremantle businesses.
“When you’re all done, head down to the waterfront for dinner and a sunset swim at Bathers Beach. It’s the perfect way to finish off your family’s beachside adventure.”
Splash Freo is brought to you by the City of Fremantle, FOMO, WA Shipwrecks Museum, The Old Courthouse, Fishing Boat Harbour, Clancy’s Fish Pub Fremantle, Toyworld Fremantle and Fremantle Markets.
Splash Freo will coincide with the OceanLife Festival being held at Fremantle Library in the Walyalup Civic Centre from 9–15 January.
The OceanLife Festival is dedicated to bringing awareness, celebrating biodiversity and making positive change for the ocean and for the Fremantle community.
It showcases local and WA creative ocean artists, activists, marine scientists, filmmakers and photographers, and features children’s activities to educate and inspire our coastal community to care for sea country.
