Mayor Keri Shannon said each award recipient had done an amazing job creating a sustainable verge that enhances their streetscape as well as benefits the local environment.
“Congratulations to this year’s recipients, they have all put their own personal stamp on establishing a sustainable verge that adds to the Town’s appeal,” Mayor Shannon said.
To get a head start on next year’s awards, residents looking to create a sustainable verge should consider developing a verge garden plan between now and the end of January.
All verge treatments will need to comply with the Town’s Street Verge Landscape and Maintenance Guidelines. Visit www.cambridge.wa.gov.au/verges for more details.
