Hepburn Shire Council invites community members to an event to congratulate the Community Award winners for 2023 and welcome new Australian citizens.
The free event will be held from 2pm on Wednesday 25 January at Daylesford Town Hall. Refreshments will be provided.
“At the event we will be announcing our Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year and Community Event of the Year,” said Mayor, Cr Brian Hood.
“This wonderful event is an opportunity to celebrate people who make a real difference in our community. We would love community members to come along, welcome our new citizens and congratulate the award winners,” said Cr Hood.
“Thank you to those who made a nomination and we extend our congratulations to the shortlisted nominees.”
The 2022 Community Award winners were Danny Moynihan – Citizen of the Year, Katie Topp – Young Citizen of the Year, and Feast on Fraser Street – Christmas in Clunes.
