Mareeba Shire Council Mayor, Angela Toppin, commends all the nominees for Australia Day Awards in 2023.

“Council received nominations for worthy individuals and groups who exemplify the community spirit and generosity that is so evident throughout our region.”

“On behalf of the Councillors, I would like to invite all residents and visitors to Council’s Australia Day Awards Ceremony on Thursday, 26 January 2023 at the Mareeba International Club. The event starts at 10:00am and is open to the public,” Mayor Angela Toppin concluded.

The event will also be live streamed from the Mareeba Shire Council Facebook page.
