Looking for options to commemorate Australia Day on Thursday 26 January? There are lots of events on throughout the Shire organised by community groups and supported by Council. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Clunes - Clunes Tourist & Development Association Victoria is hosting two events:

Sunrise walk and flag raising ceremony plus pancake breakfast at 5.45am. Location is Mt Beckworth Reserve (meet at the Dam) Flag lowering ceremony with Community BBQ and live entertainment at 5.30pm. Location is Collins Place, Fraser Street.

Creswick - Creswick Railway Workshops Assoc Inc - CRWA is facilitating the Australia Day event in Creswick:

Breakfast and flag raising ceremony from 8.00am to 10.00am at Park Lake Botanical Reserve. Please register at the Creswick Hub, email [email protected] or text 0474 429 625 to confirm attendance for catering purposes. Breakfast will include toast and condiments, egg and bacon rolls, tea and coffee. Please bring your own chair, plates, cutlery and cups.

Glenlyon - Glenlyon Recreative Reserve Committee is organising the Australia Day event:

Flag lowering ceremony with community BBQ and live entertainment from 5.30pm at Glenlyon Recreation Reserve.

Trentham Trentham Lions Club is organising the Australia Day event:

Flag raising ceremony with community BBQ and entertainment from 10.00am at the Town Square.
