Road Reconstruction- Church Street, Franklin

In accordance with the 2022-2023 Works Program, Council will be carrying out road works on Church Street, Franklin.

Works will include new resealing of the road and parking area near the school, as well as new kerb and channel and stormwater infrastructure in the area.

Works are scheduled to commence in the week starting 23 January 2023 and will be undertaken by Council’s contractor. Works aim to be completed within the next 2 months, subject to weather and contractor availability.

This project is funded from the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program. The program supports local councils to deliver priority local road and community infrastructure projects across Australia, supporting jobs and the resilience of local communities.
