Flood damage grading crews are working on Sextonville, Strains, Rices, Richmond Range, Tunglebung Creek and Knights roads.
Sealed road flood damage remediation works are happening on Theresa Creek and Collins Creek roads. Crews will start on McDonalds Bridge/Sextonville Road mid-February.
Drainage works are being undertaken on Sextonville, Strains, Tunglebung, Mahoneys, Kyogle, Eden Creek, Boorabee, Theresa Creek, and Richmond Range roads, with work to start on Roseberry Creek Road next week.
Road construction crews are working on projects on Dyraaba Road, with the initial seal scheduled to take place next week (as always weather permitting) and remediation works on the Urbenville to Woodenbong section of Clarence Way. Another section of Clarence Way is to be sealed next week.
Work crews are cleaning out culverts on Clarence Way between Bonalbo and Urbenville as part of Council’s investigations prior to the $20 million upgrade of that stretch of the road. There will also be pavement testing conducted over the next couple of weeks.
Pothole patching is happening on Clarence Way, streets in the West of the Range villages and Ettrick and Lynches Creek roads.
Works are continuing on new bridges on Deep Creek, Capeen Creek, Tunglebung, Levers, and Old Lawrence roads. The concrete deck poured on the new bridge on Iron Pot Creek Road is curing and the bridge will open to traffic next week.
The landslip on Lofts Pinnacle Road has been repaired, and work on landslips on Kyogle Road at Cawongla, Lions Road at Cougal and Old Cob O Corn Road is due to be finished later this week. Work is continuing on landslips on Kyogle Road (near Williams Road) and Tabulam Road.
