An award-winning three-course meal, drinks, live jazz and sports talk – what more could you want!
Council and local community groups have rallied together to host an unforgettable evening for the 2023 Sport and Active Recreation Awards.
The evening will include a three-course meal served by ‘ESH Bites’, the award-winning tuckshop that boasts restaurant quality, healthy, home-cooked meals.
‘We all know the Central Highlands is full of hidden gems, and ‘ESH Bites’ is one of them,’ said John McDougall General Manager Communities.
Throughout the night, guests will be entertained by the classy sounds of The Emerald Town Jazz Band and the comical yet inspiring messages from former footballer Sam Thaiday.
The awards ceremony will recognise local sportspeople and celebrate our mighty region of athletes, coaches and supporters.
Now with full bellies, a few good laughs and reason to celebrate, the night will continue on with a cash bar run by the Rotary Club and dancing.
‘This is an inaugural event for council and we hope it will be well received to have this become a regular celebration’.
Tables seat up to 10 people, and can be requested when booking.
Tickets are selling fast, so head here to secure your spot.
