Road Resurfacing – West Tamar Highway, Riverside

The Department of State Growth will be delivering maintenance work north bound between Cormiston Road and Tamar Island walkway to provide a stronger, longer lasting and safer road.

They will be starting on 15 February, working between 6:30 pm and 7:30 am from Wednesday to Friday and should be finished by 17 February, weather permitting.

How will the work affect you? They will be using machinery which generates some noise and will make every effort to minimise noise by arranging the work in stages at different locations, completing noisier activities earlier in the night and turning off machinery and vehicles when not in use.

Traffic changes There will be some temporary traffic changes to ensure workers and road users are safe. Lane closures and a reduced speed limit will be in place during work hours and may affect travel times. Please keep to speed limits, follow the directions of traffic controllers and signs, and allow up to 15 minutes extra travel time during this work.
